Wicked: For Good Crossed $1 Billion

The Wicked film series crossed a billion dollars. What it does not reflect is what happens at the other end of the scale — the LAC in Lagos, a former convent near the old town walls that has become one of the most important independent cultural spaces in the western Algarve. The Concertos em Cadeia series brings acts from Lisbon and Porto monthly. The Centro Cultural de Lagos handles theatre, dance and classical music. Both are well-attended, affordable, and excellent.
